About the Trust

Gosforth Group are a dynamic and diverse Multi Academy Trust – this means we have a clear energy and purpose and all students are valued equally, regardless of their background or ability. We are a growing multi-academy trust currently comprising of 6 academies, two of which opened in September 2021. The Trust currently has approx. 6000 students and 650 staff. About the Academy

North Gosforth Academy is a small secondary school from Year 7 through to Year 11 with a strong focus on providing high quality education in a safe, happy and caring environment. Community is at the heart of what we do. Each student is a valued member of the academy and we take pride in giving them opportunities which will allow them to thrive as an individual, both academically and holistically. Students receive a first-class education from our team of enthusiastic, dedicated teachers and our pastoral and support staff. We have high expectations of both ourselves and of our students, and we strive to develop their talents and help them succeed.

About the role

We are seeking an inspirational, dynamic and industrious teacher to join a rapidly developing Science department in an exciting phase of the Academy's development. We are looking for someone who is passionate, proactive and energetic. You will have superb subject knowledge and the skills necessary to teach Science across key stages 3 and 4 and deliver outstanding outcomes. This is a fantastic opening for a teacher looking to progress in a highly skilled supportive environment.
