Reporting to the Finance Manager and working within a team, your main responsibilities will be managing the Purchase Ledger for the business and providing support to other aspects of the Finance Department.
Responsibilities
Posting all supplier invoices in a timely manner.Assisting with reconciliation of supplier statements.Processing expenses and overnight allowances.Processing adhoc purchases to jobs and arranging payments.Processing credit card transactions.Petty cash processing & reconciliation.Administering Fuel Card accounts.Assisting with recording of engineer time for payroll purposes.Updating purchase orders from supplier acknowledgements.Assisting with sales ledger invoicing and credit control.Performing general administrative duties including scanning of documents to jobs.Supporting the wider finance team when required.
Experience/Skills
Experience within a Accounts Assistant or Purchase Ledger position.Experience on a finance system.Good working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.Excellent team player.Good communicator written and oral.
Offering
Salary up to £26k.Hours of work Monday - Thursday 8am - 4.30pm and Friday 8am - 3.30pm.Holidays 30 days including statutory holidays.Pension.
