Financial Controller

Duties of the role will include:
Full preparation and control of the production and manufacturing accounts
Preparation of monthly management accounts
Preparation of regular group reports including monthly management accounts, cash reporting and quarterly statutory consolidation;
Working with site teams and the shared service department to review and understand monthly costs whilst improving reporting accuracy;
Periodically visiting job sites;
Reconciling key balance sheet accounts;
Preparation of year end accounts and group consolidation (IFRS);
- Compliance activities: audit, tax and statutory returns;
Support Chief Financial Officer in preparation of plans/forecasts; and
Support Chief Financial Officer on ad hoc commercial projects
Skills, Requirements, Qualifications
Qualified Accountant
Manufacturing or Production Accounting experience.
Proven staff management and motivation skills.
Hands on with ability to get into the detail
Strong Excel skills
Strong skills in accuracy and attention to detail
Ability to work well under pressure in order to meet strict deadlines
Self-starter and ability to work with minimal supervision
