Part Time 22.5 hours a week
Hampshire County Council are recruiting Older Adults Social Workers in their Farnborough district.
Responsibilities:
- Maintaining and enhancing the quality of life and well being of older people and their families and promote independence, autonomy, and dignity
- Enable people to be safe, as independent as possible and to live the lives they want. Adults of all ages can need extra support in day-to-day life for various and often complex reasons.
- You will carry out complex assessments and safeguarding enquiries, using suitable methods to suggest clear, relevant, and appropriate strategies to achieve goals and outcomes and manage risks.
- Collaborating with adults, their families, carers, advocates, and external organisations, you will provide professional social work support to vulnerable older adults, those with physical and sensory impairments, and their carers.
