Job Purpose

As the Site Responsible Engineer, your role will be to move the site to state-of-the-art status in terms of assets and maintenance strategies. We will look to you to embed and deploy continuous improvement in capex management and reliability as well as ensure best practice in HSE and Compliance.

Job Responsibilities

• Responsible for nurturing site Maintenance and Electrical Engineering Teams.

• Ensure that planned preventative/reactive maintenance is carried out in a safe and efficient manner.

• Collaborate with colleagues to develop & oversee the implementation of an asset care programme.

• Deliver a safe operating environment while making sure work is carried out in accordance with legislative requirements, HSE, quality & company procedures.

• Develop the capital investment plan for the site.

• Implement continuous improvement activities that will support safety/reliability improvements & cost reductions.

• Support regulatory inspection/audit activities.

Job Requirements

• Experienced Mechanical Engineer

• Qualified with an HNC in Mechanical Engineering

• Background in similar manufacturing environment, ideally in an upper tier COMAH site.

• Used to nurturing & inspiring engineering teams.
