The team you'll be part of
Throughout your Apprenticeship, you will get the knowledge to become a Field Competence Support Engineer or Network Engineer
You will be part of the Network Infrastructure Customer Delivery team is bringing the Nokia IP and optics and Fixed Access products knowledge and the industry leading skills to our customers in the UK and Ireland to address technical challenges and ensure successful project delivery.

As the successful candidate, you will not only get an exciting opportunity to learn & excel. You will have the opportunity to:
- Set up, configure, integrate, upgrade, verify and validate customer networks and solutions that meet contractual specifications
- Improve network performance
- Perform technical investigations and troubleshooting
- Learn how to perform regular root cause analysis on process output and deliverables seeking productivity, quality and cost improvements;
- Develop scripts and templates enabling automation of repetitive tasks and routines
- Understand how to select the appropriate tools regarding specific Network activities, while complying with Nokia's policies when upgrading systems;
- Prepare technical documentation and reports

Assessment Day: 17th April 2023 (to be confirmed)
Salary: 23,000.00 Pounds Yearly
Your skills and experience
You have:
- Education: Minimum 5 GCSEs, A levels or a level 3 qualification (apprenticeship or BTEC in a relatable subject), eligibility for apprenticeship in the UK
- Passion for new networking technologies
- Ability to communicate with people, learn quickly, work proactively and accurately
- Work in a team
Desirable:
- Excellent results in STEM subjects
- Customer focus approach

The role is in the Bristol area as a hybrid worker, working 2-3 days a week from the office. Field Competence Support Engineers will be provided with excellent learning and development opportunities, including 24 months Network Engineer, Level 4 Apprenticeship program from a leading training provider, Nokia solutions and I&C trainings and certifications, access to the best-in-class on-line learning platforms and support from experienced site engineering professionals.
