Job title: Aircrew Training Capture Manager

Salary: £75,100+ depending on skills & experience + Car Allowance

What you'll be doing:

  • Directing development and implementation of the Capture Plan for aircrew training campaigns, encompassing Win Strategy, Price to Win etc.
  • Leading the customer requirement influencing strategy, requirement interpretation and Solution option generation including make/buy and partnering /teaming strategy
  • Leading the stakeholder management at all appropriate levels across multiple organisations and keeps the Business Leadership Team informed and engaged, including timely escalation of issues needing resolution
  • Developing the Business Case for continuing to pursue and bidding the Opportunity including Capture budget, working with the relevant business unit(s) to gain approval
  • Supporting the relevant Bid Director/Manager in the development of the required solution, providing customer requirements. Insights on hot buttons, acting as customer advocate etc.
  • Ensuring smooth hand-over to Project Manager for delivery phase

Your skills and experiences:

  • Demonstrable experience in understanding and influencing customer requirements
  • Ability to translate into appropriate solutions and delivering within budget/timescales
  • Strong experience in operating within a customer environment
  • Exceptionally detailed Capture Skills and Knowledge
  • Ability to utilise innovative commercial models
  • Proven customer experience as aircrew and/or in delivering training in Aircrew experience

The Aircrew Capture Team:

This role is responsible for managing all relevant strategic training campaigns, in the aircrew training space. The role holder will manage a team, containing direct resource and indirect resource.

They are responsible for developing and communicating the strategy and direction for Capture for a business, creating the appropriate Business Winning environment through market understanding, planning, positioning and development of opportunities and capturing business.
