The Opportunity:

This post is full-time (35 hours per week). We are open to considering requests for hybrid working (on a non-contractual basis) that combines a mix of remote and regular on-campus working.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an additional Lecturer to join the online MSc Clinical Education, based in Edinburgh Medical School at the University of Edinburgh. The post holder will provide comprehensive academic input to the online MSc in Clinical Education, with an emphasis on course leadership and development, supervising dissertations, leading tutorials, marking assignments and dissertations, and supporting postgraduate students, with some elements of management and administration of teaching. The post will also involve contributing to the development and delivery of related local and online training in clinical education and the ongoing programme of pedagogical research.

The post holder will be an enthusiastic individual, with a postgraduate degree and teaching experience in a relevant health-related subject, experience of co-ordinating a teaching programme and experience of online learning and teaching. The post requires an ability to embrace new technologies, acquire new skills quickly and to work productively, both independently and as part of a team.
