As Sous Chef you will play an integral part in assisting the Executive Sous Chef to deliver dishes to for events and supporting your colleagues in our other kitchens.
You will ensure smooth running of your section and you will be responsible that food & hygiene standards are maintained within the kitchen.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
The Senior Sous Chef will provide leadership to all culinary activities of the Royal Lancaster London.
He or she will ensure standards of product, service and hospitality to our guests.
Help maintain kitchen productivity.
Engage the kitchen team in working at a 5* Food Hygiene standard at all times
To continually monitor operations to achieve excellence in the following areas: Quality of food produces and Quality of food preparation.
Carry out all elements of the Performance Management System in accordance with the Lancaster London Hotel standards.Deputies for Head Chef in his absence.
Ensure the quality and presentation of food is in accordance with the dish specification at all times.
Prepare menus and produce dishes which delight our guests and stand us apart from our competitors.
