The role involves:


• working with the Year 5 Class Teacher to support the children in their academic, social and emotional development


• supporting the teacher with whole class, small group and one-to-one teaching


• being a calm, caring and patient person who is dedicated to helping young children learn, grow and flourish


• implementing the school policies both in class and across the school where as appropriate

The successful candidate will:


• be an experienced Teaching Assistant who has excellent communication skills and is able to work closely and effectively with children, their parents and carers


• be passionate about teaching and learning and believe in developing the true potential of all children


• be able to multi-task, help plan and deliver stimulating and interesting activities and be confident in playing with children and reading stories aloud
