Our well established Kirkcaldy based client are looking for a Finance Administrator for a minimum of 3 months on a temporary basis.
You will join a small , busy team where you will be expected to provide a professional and timely accounting service in respect to assigned duties within the finance function.
You will also take responsibility and ownership for the accuracy of finance transactions and fulfil regular reconciliations to demonstrate this being achieved. Key duties will include:
- Maintain the Ledgers including the timely processing of sales and purchase invoices.
- Maintain frequent reconciliation of customer/supplier accounts and manage the process of queries from notification to resolution.
- Assist with the daily role of Finance Manager, including chasing overdues, and administrative tasks
- Assist with the daily role of invoice processing and validation
- Taking a supporting role in creating and defining process documents for the Finance Function
- Assisting in delivering departmental projects based on streamlining operations and optimising use of Company systems
To be suitable for this busy role you will have the following key skills and experience:
- Experience in a similar Finance Admin related role
- The ability to work and thrive in a team environment
- Self-disciplined and efficient, with a flexible proactive nature
- Understanding of financials basics
- Willingness to bring forward ideas and look for growth and development opportunities
- Competence in Microsoft Office products, XL and accounting software program
- Show a high level of competency and organisational skills
This role will initially be based from home (laptop etc provided) as the offices are being renovated. It will then ideally move to an office based role.
The hourly rate will be 14-16ph PAYE (DOE) and the hours will be full-time 830am - 5pm Monday - Friday.
