We are looking for a Warehouse and Logistics Operative. You will be responsible for providing efficient, consistent and accurate warehousing service for Bioscience and Diagnostic commercial divisions.

What your responsibilities will be

You will have the opportunity to:

  • Ensure that all pharmaceutical work completed meets full Good Distribution Practice (GDP).
  • Receive and check goods inwards, correctly store, accurately process and despatch all product categories.
  • Process NIBSC plasma pool and batch samples in an accurate and timely fashion.
  • Ensure that all Health & Safety procedures are followed.
  • Understand and follow the principles of the company's Quality Management and Business Continuity Systems.
  • Ensure that the warehouse is maintained in a neat, clean and tidy state and in accordance with GDP.
  • Be available for any out-of-hours working/call outs.

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, education, and/or ability required.   • You have working experience within a warehouse environment.
  • You are used to working with IT systems, knowledge of SAP would be a plus.
  • Fork-lift truck driving experience is desirable but if not, training will be given.
  • You have availability to travel daily to our facilities in Waterbeach (CB25 9PE) and it might be required to travel for training.
  • Knowledge of the Pharmaceutical Bioscience and Diagnostic industry will be an advantage.
  • You have the ability to prioritise and work as part of a team. You also have time management skills.
  • You have an eye for detail.
  • You have accuracy when picking & checking against batch numbers.
