The Sales Support Specialist is responsible, as part of a team, for providing efficient customer responses handling a busy inbox, delivering accurate sales quotations and prompt follow up to sales leads. Working to increase customer web shop uptake and being an integral part of a positive customer experience delivering sales growth. This role has opportunity to develop deeper sales, technical and customer service skills.

This hybrid working position is part of the Sales Enablement department and will be located in Salford Quays, Manchester. In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Deliver excellent Customer Service through efficient and accurate response to Customer Quote requests/enquiries via email and telephone.
  • Support the sales growth target through proactive follow ups of identified Sales leads
  • Achieve process efficiency through account conversion to the web shop
  • Develop sales skills working with the wider sales teams
  • Recognise personal development opportunities through access to wide ranging development courses

The Essential requirements of the job include:

  • Proficient computer skills with confident knowledge in Microsoft office, Microsoft teams
  • Excellent communication skills, written/verbal
  • Excellent organisation skills, handling multiple tasks with a sense of pace and urgency
  • Sales/Customer administration
  • Able to work effectively in a team environment

It would be a plus if you also possess:

  • experience
  • Experience working in a business to business environment
  • Knowledge of water quality, the water industry, or other scientific field
  • Bachelor's degree, or equivalent qualification, in a scientific field
