Reception Teacher

Hoe Bridge, an academically focused coeducational school for children aged 2 to 16, is looking to appoint a Reception Teacher to join its busy and forward thinking Reception Team.

As a Reception Teacher, you will be responsible for the provision of the school curriculum for the pupils in your care, the schemes of work and the implementation of the school policies. You will provide well planned, full learning experiences and support for learners and be responsible for the well-being and discipline of all the children in your care. You will be a well-qualified and energetic teacher with vision, purpose, warmth and humour, who works positively with colleagues and derives satisfaction from caring for and encouraging all children. You will have exceptional communication skills and want to be involved in all areas of school life. An ability to think strategically (as well as operationally) and implement change is vital, as are exceptional communication skills, both on paper and in oral presentation.
