About the challengeOur vision is for the children and families of Rotherham to routinely experience and describe the services they receive from us, as outstanding. And we intend to do that by putting the child first in everything we do.
The Placements Broker roles will be key to delivering high quality and appropriate fostering or residential placements for children, in a fast paced and demanding environment. Supported by Commissioning Officers and Managers, when necessary, you will carry out placement searches utilising the team's provider frameworks and knowledge of the market, which you will help develop and improve to secure the best outcomes for children and young people in our care. You will be an excellent communicator, building strong, professional relationships with providers and working effectively with Social Care workers and managers.
