We are seeking to appoint an Assistant Headteacher who is able to contribute to the development of school as a centre of excellence for the education, care and personal development of young people with social, emotional and mental health and ensure we realise our mission to provide pupils with transformative and life-changing education. The successful candidate will need to demonstrate a commitment to education, to the needs and rights of all pupils and to the development of the school's community, with strong, mutually supportive relationships with parents, partner schools and the broader community. They will also need to uphold the school's nurture principles and endorse our commitment to a relational and trauma-informed approach. The school's ethos will be that of achievement, aspiration, commitment, good citizenship and enjoyment within a whole school environment that promotes safety, security, routine, warmth and clear boundaries.
