We are seeking a proactive, engaging and organised Impact and Knowledge Exchange Coordinator (Social Science) to provide detailed strategic advice and practical support to individual researchers, clusters of researchers, departments and faculties in the Social Sciences to help to identify, maximise, capture and communicate research impact for REF2029.

Working as part of the University's dynamic Impact and Knowledge Exchange Team, you will play a key role to ensure social science impact and knowledge exchange activities are appropriately supported and monitored across the University for use in REF impact case studies.

You should bring experience and understanding of REF impact requirements and eligibility. The role holder will be comfortable with Social Sciences research and need to demonstrate exceptional interpersonal skills to establish productive working relationships with academic, research and professional services colleagues across the University and beyond.

The role-holder will play a pivotal role in the next REF, working with the Senior Impact and Knowledge Exchange Coordinator for Social Sciences and Arts and Humanities to support and maintain the University's national and international reputation for excellence in research. The role-holder will lead on impact submissions under the Social Sciences REF Main Panel. The role-holder will be responsible for developing and sharing best practise and advising senior academics and administrators within departments and faculties under his/her Main Panel.

This role is based at the Research Strategy Office, The Old Schools, Trinity Lane, Cambridge, CB2 1TN.
