BMSL is currently seeking a skilled Quantity Surveyor to join our client, a company specializing in Retail, Commercial, and Domestic refurbishment projects. Prior experience in these areas is highly desirable.

Role:

  • Deliver high-quality Quantity Surveying support for the financial management of contractors working on maintenance contracts.
  • Manage pre and post-contract quantity surveying services for internal and external planned maintenance.
  • Maintain effective relationships with contractors, partners, and consultants to ensure contract accountability.
  • Prepare construction contracts, tender documents, and accurate management reports for stakeholders.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Experience in managing and controlling large maintenance budgets.
  • Proficiency in evaluating contract delivery and monitoring unit costs.
  • Knowledge of cost reporting procedures and construction legislation.
  • Working towards a recognized degree level qualification in Quantity Surveying or relevant experience.
  • Strong analytical skills to interpret complex data and advise on improvement strategies.
