Job Description for the Accounts Assistant role:
  • Processing purchase ledger, matching purchase invoices to Delivery notes
  • Coding and the posting of purchase invoices
  • Statement reconciliation
  • Payment run preparation
  • Posting of payments
  • Investigating any queries
  • Preparing month end accruals
  • Sales ledger
  • Debtor chasing and liaising with the manager who will deal with escalations
  • Monitoring the cash flow
  • Banking and petty cash For the Accounts Assistant role, it would be good to see candidates with:
    • Part or full AAT qualified or equivalent
    • Strong attention to detail
    • Good organisational skills
    • Engineering background would be an advantage
    • Ideally experience of working within a small business
    • Multicurrency experience is an advantage Hours: Monday - Thursday 8:00 am - 4:30 pm - Friday 8:00 am - 1:30 pm

      Salary:
      £26,500 per annum
