Responsibilities:
- Assist with the preparation and review of personal tax returns for a portfolio of clients, ensuring accuracy and compliance with tax laws and regulations.
- Conduct tax computations and analysis to determine tax liabilities and identify tax planning opportunities for clients.
- Support clients with tax compliance matters, including tax payments, filing deadlines, and resolving tax queries.
- Keep abreast of changes in tax legislation and communicate any relevant updates or impacts to clients and team members.
- Assist in researching and resolving complex tax issues, providing recommendations and guidance to clients.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and timely completion of tax assignments.
- Assist in managing client relationships, serving as a point of contact and addressing client inquiries and requests.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date client files and documentation, ensuring compliance with internal and external requirements.
- Support senior team members in tax planning initiatives and provide input on tax-efficient strategies for clients.
- Stay current with industry trends and participate in professional development activities to enhance tax knowledge and skills.
