Personal Injury Paralegal-Cycling Claims

A Cycling Claims or Personal Injury Paralegal/Fee Earner is wanted for an excellent opportunity with a Top 50 law firm based in Manchester. Salary is negotiable depending on experience.

Due to continued growth and expansion, they are looking to recruit a Cycling Claims or Personal Injury Paralegal/Fee Earner to join their award winning team. You will manage your own caseload of files representing cyclists who have suffered, often complex, injuries as a result of accidents.

Duties will include:
Preparing for and submitting CNFs/letters of claimInstructing engineersDrafting schedules of special damages and obtaining evidence in supportDrafting of client and witness statementsPreparing instructions to medical experts and counsel & drafting court documentsObtaining, reviewing and collating medical recordsResearching case law on liability and quantumPreparing advice on liability, quantum and causationPreparing court bundlesThe ideal candidate will have at least 12 months experience running your own caseload of Personal Injury/RTA files and you will have a good understanding of the CPR rules. Experience working on cycling claims would be beneficial but this is not essential.
