Main responsibilities:

• Create and deliver engaging lesson plans and assess performance
• Tailor teaching approach to suit individual learning capacities
• Support young adults who may require 1:1 support
• Build relationships with staff and students
• Encompass a flexible work attitude to align with the schools' requirements
• Organising and leading extra-curricular activities such as school choirs, bands, and music clubs
• Contributing to school events, concerts, and performances throughout the academic year

Qualifications/ Specification:

• Teaching Qualification (QTS): Bachelor of Education/PGCE or an equivalent teaching degree.
• Previous experience working with children and young adults
• Adaptability and flexibility, approaching work with an optimistic educational perspective
• Passionate about music and committed to fostering a creative and inclusive learning environment
• Skilled in playing one or more musical instruments, with the ability to teach practical music as well as theory
