About the Role

As a key player in our continuous improvement journey, you will support the operations teams to integrate and embed the Manufacturing Management System (MMS) at the department level.

You will work closely with operational teams to enhance site performance by facilitating and driving improvements in standards, capabilities, and performance.

This role is crucial for delivering outstanding results in all areas of the balanced scorecard, including Safety, Quality, Environment, Asset Care, Delivery, Productivity, Cost, and Morale.

You will also serve as an MMS subject matter expert, providing coaching and guidance to Tiers 1 and 2, while advocating for the asset care agenda and maintaining high enthusiasm and energy to drive the change program.

Key Accountabilities

Provide guidance and support for the effective and aligned implementation of MMS.Actively promote and drive the implementation of MMS within the department and across the site.Closely monitor and report performance and practice progressOptimize the MMS platform to support and assess the change process.Share best practices and leverage improvement opportunities across other sites, establishing an understanding of how the site benchmarks against other leading Diageo sites and the external business environment.Standardise and sustain any improvements implemented within operations teams.Support loss and waste assessment and problem-solving activities.Participate in and lead improvement projects using the DMAIC methodology.Engage with the Daily Operational Review meetings to provide expert analysis of performance improvement opportunities.Support the Task Forces and Shift-Based teams in their deployment of MMS through their regular meetings and communication of activities. About You

The ideal candidate will possess knowledge of manufacturing excellence tools and techniques such as 5S, set-up time reduction, Lean Six Sigma, and reliability-centered maintenance, as well as an understanding of planning processes and optimising demand cycles.

A working knowledge of SAP and experience in coaching and influencing a range of stakeholders for success is advantageous.

Proficiency in Continuous Improvement methodologies (DMAIC, PDCA, RCPS, SPC), intermediate project management skills, and the ability to interpret and analyse extensive data sources to identify waste and cost-saving opportunities are required.

The ideal candidate should have a demonstrable experience of excellent engagement and communication skills.
