As Production Planner, your work will focus on these responsibilities:

  • Creation and management of Works Orders within MRP/ERP system.
  • Plan and coordinate production schedule considering customer requirements and production constraints.
  • Analyse back orders, current orders and upcoming orders to prioritize, plan, and schedule the production.
  • Production Planner will liaise with suppliers, supply chains to remain fully updated on any events resulting in supply discrepancy or interruption.
  • Creation of production schedules for publication
  • Maintain Planning parameters to maximise performance.
  • Continually improve data processes, and systems, within Operations Planning.
  • Calculation and maintenance of planned inventory levels and buffer stock.

To be successful in this role, we expect you to have:

  • Experience in a planning role within manufacturing environment/ industry
  • MS Office (Excel / Word / Outlook / PowerPoint / Project).
  • Experience of working in operational environment, production, and or supply chain functions.
  • Experience with MRP/ERP system (SAP preferred)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication at all business levels
