Our Large, oversubscribed secondary school in Halton are on the lookout for an enthusiastic and motivating Physics teacher to join their outstanding department. As a result of a strong senior leadership team, the school has very little staff turnover. As a result of a positive Ofsted inspection, the children's behaviour is described as Outstanding.
Both experienced and ECTs (Early Careers Teachers) are welcome to apply.
As a Physics Teacher, you'll be expected to:
- Strong subject knowledge and a passion for sharing the wonders of science with students. students and to support the curriculum area as appropriate.
- To monitor and support the overall progress and development of students as a teacher and or form tutor.
- To facilitate and encourage a learning experience, which provides students with the opportunity to achieve their individual potential.
- To contribute to raising standards of student attainment and achievement.
- To share and support the school's responsibility to provide and monitor opportunities for the
- personal and academic development of children and young people.
To apply for this role you must have:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Knowledge of the KS3/KS4 Science Curriculum
- Able to provide Referees.
- An up-to-date DBS Check (or be willing to obtain one)
- Eligibility to work in the UK.
- Strong knowledge of UK exam boards and their requirements in your relevant subject.
