The role:
Estate Management
· Carrying out Health and Safety checks in communal areas at low, medium and high rise flats
· Liaising and reporting repairs including visits to elderly or vulnerable tenants to assist in accurate reporting of repairs etc
Environmental Management
· Working with grounds maintenance and office staff in addressing environmental issues
· Providing information on land use on estates and provide a link between communities and the Area Office
· Assisting Land & Regeneration Services by undertaking Undeveloped Land Site (ULS) inspections
· Monitoring minor instances of nuisance and low level Anti-social behavior
Community Development
· Assisting Area representatives at residents / community association meetings, deal with tenant queries, produce progress reports on activity and provide feedback to tenants on activity in our estates
· Undertaking estate based inspections in partnership with community representatives, agencies and Supporting Communities in preparation for attending the Area inter-agency meetings
· Developing and maintaining links with local communities and their representatives
Criteria:
· BTEC National Certificate or equivalent professional qualification
· 1 – 3 year's experience in a customer service or general administrative role
· Experience in dealing with customers in a challenging environment
· Possess a full driving license and have access to a form of transport
