Description

The role of Transport Planner in Redditch will involve:

• Planning and coordinating transport routes in the UK and around Europe.
• Communicating effectively with drivers and customers.
• Booking travel arrangements in a timely manner.
• Managing the Double Manned/Driver processes.
• Planning driver resource and liaising with agency suppliers.
• Ensuring transport operations adhere to legal and company standards.
• Efficiently solving any logistical challenges that may arise.
• Ensuring all logistics documentation is accurate and up-to-date.

Working Hours:

• Monday-Friday 8am - 6pm (with occasional weekend work on Saturday mornings).
• Some on-call duties.

Profile

A successful Transport Planner should have:

• A strong background in transport planning.
• Excellent geographical knowledge of the UK and Europe
• A good understanding of transport regulations and legal guidelines.
• Excellent problem-solving skills.
