Support Worker - Orkney

Pay rate - 13 per hour

My reputable client is looking for a dedicated and hard working Support Worker to join their team. They are are seeking a compassionate and reliable Support Worker to join their team in Orkney.

The successful candidate will provide high-quality care and support to individuals with Autism, ensuring they lead fulfilling and independent lives.

You will work in a variety of settings, including clients homes, residential care facilities, and community environments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support clients in maintaining their independence and achieving their personal goals.
  • Assist with medication administration and management.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with clients, their families, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Promote clients physical and emotional wellbeing through engaging activities and companionship.
  • Maintain accurate and uptodate records of care provided.
  • Ensure a safe and clean environment for clients.
  • Respond to emergencies and provide appropriate interventions as required.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Previous experience in a similar role
  • A caring and empathetic nature with a genuine desire to make a difference in people's lives.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • A valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle is preferred.
  • Relevant qualifications in health and social care are advantageous.
