Due to the retirement of the current post holder – after 17 years of excellent service to the School - we are looking to recruit a Biology Technician to join our highly successful and supportive science faculty. The appointed person will ensure that all biology experiments are properly prepared and that materials are maintained to support teaching and learning of the highest order.

Ideal candidates will:

have an appropriate scientific backgroundhave laboratory experiencebe very organised and have strong administration skillsbe able to working independently using their initiativebe able to form good working relationships with other members of staffbe fully supportive of the School's high expectations and culture of achievement Previous school experience may be an advantage but is not essential. Hours: 36 hours per week, term-time only Actual salary: £24,298 per annum (plus benefits including membership of Local Government Pension Scheme). Closing date: 9am on Monday 13 May 2024.
