Teacher of Science

Brayton Academy seeks to appoint an inspiring and ambitious teacher of Science to join our effective and dedicated Science Team to cover a staff sabbatical until September 2026 in the first instance. The successful candidate will have an outstanding teaching ability, the skills to motivate and engage students, and a relentless ambition to enrich the lives and learning experiences of our young people. You will also be able to teach science across all three specialisms.

Brayton Academy was awarded 'Outstanding in all areas' in our most recent Ofsted inspection which highlighted our students' exemplary behaviour and excellent attitudes to learning, our outstanding Leadership Team and the substantial progress made by students in lesson thanks to skilful teaching. Our GCSE results are 'well above national average' and our academy is the school of choice within our community. This is an excellent time to join our thriving academy.
