What we're looking for:As a Junior Production Accountant at Broadwick Live, you will be a vital part of our finance team, collaborating closely with the operations, production, marketing, and artist booking teams. Your role will encompass financial oversight of live event productions, ensuring accurate accounting, budget management, and financial compliance.
Our team is responsible for the numbers behind the art. We capture and report all the financial data for the various entities that make up the collective Broadwick Group, which is used to aid the leadership team to make long term strategic decisions about the business.
What you'll be responsible for:Finance Management and Administration
- Collaborate with the production, operations, and artist booking teams to manage event budgets, ensuring accuracy and cost efficiency.
- Manage the purchase order process, ensuring all teams are up to date with raising and approving POs, investigating any queries.
- Monitor expenditures, track variances against budgets, and provide insights to optimise cost controls.
- Liaise with external suppliers regarding payment terms and processes.
- Work closely with the operations, production, marketing, and artist booking teams, offering financial guidance and support throughout the event lifecycle.
- Maintain meticulous financial records and documentation, facilitating audits and ensuring adherence to industry and regulatory standards.
- Helping entertainment teams perform IR35 checks.
- Supporting the wider team as required.

- Working alongside Management Accountants and Finance Assistant
- Communicating your training needs and actively participating in your own development in line with the line manager's expectations.
- Creating a work environment that aligns with Broadwick values and principles.

- Carrying out ad hoc duties when required to.
- Prior experience in a similar role within the live events/music, television or film industry.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to adapt your messaging for different audiences, as you will work closely with the Entertainment team.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUPS, XLOOKUPS, SUMIFS etc.).
- Basic Microsoft Office skills (Outlook, Word).
- The ability to be proactive and organised, as you will assist with managing multiple projects that the finance team are working on.
- The ability and keen appetite to take ownership of your designated tasks.
- A strong attention to detail.
- Knowledge and passion for the music and entertainment industry.
- Willingness to develop your financial understanding of how a business works.
