Client Details

Page Personnel are working with a highly reputable, industry leading business. They are seeking a progressive candidate to join them as Accounts Assistant at an exciting time for the company.

Description

Accounts Assistant responsibilities include:

  • Processing invoices for our purchase ledgers across all entities and arranging payment runs to our suppliers
  • Checking employee expenses across all entities are processed correctly and paid within an agreed timescale
  • Processing credit card claims monthly
  • Overseeing the bank postings and reconcile on a weekly basis across all entities
  • Assisting with client invoicing queries
  • Dealing with requests from auditor/banks
  • Assist with the onboarding of contractors and entering contractor info into our accounts systems
  • Assisting with payments to contractors
  • Month-end work, revolving around reporting, analysis and journals

Profile

The candidate will have/be:

  • AAT/ACCA/CIMA part qualified or equivalent - Desirable
  • Experience in a similar accounting role - Required
  • Strong communication skills both written and verbal - Required
  • Good working knowledge of MS Excel - Required
  • High attention to detail - Required
  • Ability to develop and maintain strong working relationships - Required
