Location: Telford

Hours: 10 hours per day with 30 minutes lunch break (unpaid) 9.5 hours paid per day

Shift Patterns: Monday Friday - 2 Shifts available 06 00 &

Pay: GBP15 per hour (GBP37k annual)

Contract: Permanent

Our client based in Telford who are a Metal finisher are looking to recruit an experienced Shift Supervisor to join their team.

Day to Day responsibilities will include the following:

  • Manage and lead a team during assigned shift to ensure excellent customer service.
  • Supervise production and preparation processes
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
  • Coordinate with the Operation Manager and Plant Manager to expedite orders and minimise customer wait times
  • Train, mentor, and motivate staff members to enhance performance and productivity
  • Collaborate with the management team to meet sales targets and operational goals.

Essential qualities and experience:

  • Can do attitude towards work
  • Strong work ethic
  • Strong leadership qualities (would suit ex-military personnel_
  • Attention to detail
  • Counterbalance forklift licence (in date with paper certificate or photo card (advantage)
  • Knowledge of Galvanizing process (advantageous)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work by yourself or in a team
  • Ability to use own initiative
  • Excellent Timekeeping
  • Physically Fit
  • Fluent English (Both written and verbal)
