Decant Officer(P01788)Starting salary £28,495 with potential progression to £31,649pa on achieving designated skills and experience 37 hours per week (hybrid working)An exciting opportunity has arisen within our Neighbourhood and Enforcement Team for an enthusiastic and self-motivated individual to help us provide a high quality decant service to our tenants. The Role As a Decant Officer you would be providing a specialist co-ordination and liaison service that prepares and assists our tenants when they are required to move home due to regeneration, planned works or emergency situations. This role will also assist in identifying tenants who may not be living in homes that are suitable for them, and the Decant Officer will help them explore better housing solutions that will meet their needs, now and in the future.

We are looking for someone who, as a team player, can get stuck in, has a positive approach and the ability to problem solve and liaise with other teams, agencies, and contractors to ensure great outcomes for our tenants. About You To be successful in this role you will need to have excellent organisational skills, be compassionate, diligent, calm, and enthusiastic with a desire to go the extra mile to make our tenants feel supported in often stressful and emergency situations.

The ability to converse at ease and provide advice in accurate spoken English is essential to this post. Confident in use of Word, Excel and Outlook is essential and hold a full driving licence valid in the UK and have use of a vehicle. If this is you, we would very much like to hear from you.
