Make Up Trainer

Location: London with regular UK travel

Role Overview

The Make Up Trainer will ensure the delivery of all aspects of colour training that supports the learning and understanding of all colour ranges in our retail stores/the business.

Main responsibilities:

Work in collaboration with the Head of Education to organize, coordinate and assist with colour training Facilitate/co-facilitate training, including Colour Specialists trade tests, induction and development, new starter induction and general in-store training Identify needs within this category, create and implement digital and store training sessions Continually evaluate where training is needed, and how effective it is. Will have ownership, along with the Head of Education, of the KPI'S for this category Input into Space to shine (SNK sales and Service model), Induction, evaluation, retention, creation of training assets and internal IG content Nation-wide travel to deliver in-person product and skills training, to our store teams Qualifications, Knowledge and Experience:

Artistry: A make-up artist with excellent level of skill Passion; teaching others to become great retail make-up artists and exciting them about colour Training; ability to translate and simplify techniques and selling, and to mentor and develop existing and new Colour Specialists Commercial; translate business objectives into education, ensuring our team members understand the importance of the colour category and how to increase sales Driven; taking ownership of the colour category KPI's, and collaborating with Head of Education to create and implement a plan to reach KPI's, always reviewing and adapting for success Creativity; ability to propose creative solutions, generate new ideas and to create training modules for different formats; digitally, shop floor, via ambassador etc Teamwork; collaborating with digital and design creators on make-up training collateral and tools 360; ensuring all colour training supports, and everything is done through the prism of, our service module.
