Job DescriptionBased at 365 Clepington Road, you will work full time, 37 hours for a fixed term of 4 years. The Modern Apprentice Scheme is focused to target high youth unemployment in the Dundee Area. Funding for training is only available for candidates aged 16 to 19 or disabled/care experienced applicants up to the age of 29. Craft & Design or Technological Studies) and/or Supported industrial experience such as Skill Development Scotland "Get Ready for Work" initiative including completion of relevant Pre-Apprentice Scheme (National Progression Award).ResponsibilitiesYou will be working under the direct instruction of a tradesperson, to develop the skills and knowledge for the chosen trade, whilst demonstrating an enthusiasm and willingness to achieve a high degree of competency.

You will also undertake college studies and must complete the chosen development training programme.The IndividualYou will have the ability to work as part of a team or on own initiative.

You will have good communication skills, be enthusiastic, have good time keeping and be able to attend college and travel if required as part of apprenticeship.

You must be able to work at heights and be able to cope with outside environment.
