This leading toy brand business is well-known for its creativity and innovation, creating characters which are loved around the globe.

The Opportunity

The business now has a need for an IP lawyer to join the business in newly created position for the business.

The work will be highly brands focused and will have responsibility for all legal advice relating to IP and trade marks, copyright and design. You will manage the IP portfolio globally and you will advise on the development and protection of the portfolio. You will lead on prosecution and enforcement matters and you will work closely with the business on the management and development of IP strategy.

The brand is growing globally along with the legal team, this is a key role for the business.

About You

The role will best suit an IP lawyer with excellent brands experience. Given the importance of this role to the business, solid and varied IP experience is essential. A keen interest in brand protection and marketing in relation to consumer brands is also key.

The ability to work with a global brand is also key, along with the ability to establish relationships with both internal and external stakeholders across a global business.

This is a rare and unique opportunity for a mid-level IP lawyer to join a highly innovative and creative business in a new and key role and for the business.
