We are delighted to be supporting an established, evolving and eco conscious company based in Warwick. This innovative and market leading business are looking to grow their in house finance team with the addition of this exciting part time Stock Accountant role. You will be joining a dynamic and supportive team and report directly into the Finance Manager. With a focus on stock, forecasting and in depth analysis this role will give you plenty of development and learning opportunities. You will play a key role in driving positive financial outcomes through data analysis and collaboration with colleagues at all levels in various departments across the business.

This part time opportunity comes with an annual salary of up to 45,000 pro rata.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Stock/Inventory Management- Analyse and optimise inventory levels to ensure accurate financial reporting and operational efficiency.
  • Balance Sheet Reconciliations - Perform detailed reconciliations to maintain the accuracy and integrity of financial records.
  • Cash Flow Forecasting - Develop and maintain cash flow forecasts to support strategic decision-making.
  • Liaison with Teams - Work closely with operational managers, the commercial manager, and sales teams to provide financial insights and support.
  • Intercompany Transactions - Manage and reconcile intercompany accounts and transactions.
  • Financial Reporting - Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
  • Budgeting and Forecasting - Assist in the preparation and review of budgets and forecasts.
  • Variance Analysis - Conduct variance analysis to identify and explain differences between actual and budgeted performance.
  • Process Improvement - Identify and implement process improvements to enhance financial operations and reporting accuracy.
  • Compliance - Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal policies.
  • Ad Hoc Projects - Contribute to various financial projects and initiatives as required.

Candidate Experience, Skills and Attributes:

  • Minimum three years experience working in a similar role.
  • Motivated with a strong desire to develop and learn new skills.
  • Able to challenge and seek improvements to processes, systems and reporting etc.
  • Confident and effective communicator at all levels and departments within a business.
  • Analytical nature with advanced Excel skills.
  • Experience with stock/inventory is highly desirable.
