We are working with a specialist school that provides education and guidance to young people facing mental health challenges, helping them to find a compassionate individual to join their team as a Mental Health Recovery Worker.

  • Monday to Friday

The school is based in Swindon and is dedicated to supporting young people from a diverse range of backgrounds and with varying needs. They are looking to welcome a Mental Health Recovery Worker to join in the new academic year to act as a role model to their students struggling with their mental health. Working as a Mental Health Recovery Worker, you will be the students' first line of support during turbulent situations. The successful candidate will gain a valuable insight into how to help young people navigate unclear environments and negative headspaces. While collaborating with on-site educational psychologists, therapists and safeguarding officers, you will observe students to identify potential triggers and areas of improvement.

The school are looking for a dedicated individual with an interest in children's development to take on the role of a Mental Health Recovery Worker with not only the children's personal and academic progression in mind but with the intention of supporting the candidate's career. The successful Mental Health Recovery worker will not only contribute to the school's nurturing environment but benefit from it as well.
