Our work covers a whole spectrum of services at the scale and quality that the market is demanding. By closely monitoring market drivers and learning trends, we have combined a best of breed technology enabled platform with a modular approach, a library of re-usable digital content and a service delivery capability. Our Learning Solutions curriculum is designed to deliver more than just training. A core part of our offering is to help clients make the connection between what their workforce has in terms of measurable skills, what they don't have and what they need to have. This helps clients realise their immediate and future strategic business aims.
Government Campus and Curriculum (GCC)One of our key learning projects is to work with external partners and Her Majesty's Civil Service to integrate and coordinate service delivery and customer experience of cross-government learning for the United Kingdom's Civil Servants. We are responsible for coordinating multiple service providers, tailoring learning content, delivery of 'off the shelf' learning products, and measuring impact and effectiveness. We aim to help the Civil Service embrace a culture of learning, increase the range and quality of learning solutions, and improve the value for money of its learning and training interventions. We aim to help the Civil Service provide its staff with a seamless and impactful learning experience that is coordinated and built collaboratively to leverage leading practices and subject matter experts from multiple industries and service providers.
Job SummaryThe Learning team is responsible for the development, maintenance and continuous improvement of the Cross Civil Service Curriculum to meet Civil Service Learning requirements. The Assistant Curriculum & Skills Manager is responsible for ensuring that topics and programmes achieve the quality standards set out in the CSL learning model. They will have management of their relevant Curriculum Strands area and ensure that their content lands successfully with the departments.
The Assistant Curriculum & Skills Manager must embody KPMG's values, act as a role model, and help build commitment and belief toward the accomplishment of the team's goals.
Role and Responsibilities
- Scope, develop and maintain new and existing core curriculum topics or programmes as directed by the Learning Frameworks Quality board
- Provide subject matter expertise to enable the completion of High Level and Outline design for topics and programmes
- Contribute to scoping activities for chargeable contextualisation requests by providing subject matter and design input
- Contribute to the management of the design of chargeable detailed contextualization for topics and programmes within their subject areas
- Establish and maintain strong working relationships with Curriculum leads and Department L&D leads
- Build a subject matter focused network within the KPMG led Consortium and beyond
- Maintain information to ensure that all work streams can operationalise topics and programmes
- Work with the Learning Architects to help plan, design, and construct learning solutions for clients
- Work with Clients and Suppliers, and deal with detailed requirements to achieve demanding goals
