Quality Control Inspector Position

Focused Recruitment is currently seeking an experienced Quality Control Inspector to join a manufacturing site in the Ebbw Vale area.

Job Overview:
  • Perform dimensional and visual inspections during production and final inspections.
  • Inspect purchased parts and materials for standards compliance.
Duties:
  • Process inspection and non-conformance reports.
  • Ensure materials comply with purchase order requirements.
  • Inspect finished products for distribution to customers.
  • Rework finished products using hand-held equipment.
  • Utilize standard measuring equipment like Vernier's & calipers.
  • Review technical drawings for component conformity.
  • Ensure shipping inspection reports are accurately processed.
  • Document factory acceptance/integration tests.
Desired Attributes:
  • Previous experience in quality inspection in manufacturing.
  • Detail-oriented with focus on accuracy.
  • Proficient with hand-held tools.
  • IT literate for quality audit documentation.
Job Details:
  • Job Types: Full-time, Temp to perm
  • Pay: From £14.04 per hour
  • Expected hours: 40 per week
  • Benefits: Company pension
  • Schedule: 8-hour day shifts, Monday to Friday
