We are currently recruiting for a Supply Chain Merchandiser

Purpose of Position:

Responsible for the development & execution of the stock management strategy for Direct and Warehouse, ensuring stock levels are maintained in line with business requirements to deliver sales and profit targets through effective management and implantation of processes. This role gives the individual the opportunity to build a new function within Space NK and demonstrate immediate impact within this financial year of their actions.

Key Accountabilities and Measures:

Availability by Channel:

Optimise availability for Direct and minimise markdown through commercial analysis and inventory management. Fully exploit AGR demand planning system to deliver accurate demand forecasts and achieve availability targets. Work with the Category teams to mitigate risks and drive opportunities identified through Direct future availability forecasting. Maximise sales/availability for seasonal events, promotional activity, and exceptional trading periods through effective intake management & use of the Single Stock File. Channel Management:

Accountable for the control of inventory to maintain stock targets and healthy cash flow. Develop and maintain strong links with the DC Director through regular and effective communication and identifying opportunities to drive sales. Deliver the tester strategy and be accountable for achieving the tester targets. Driving the weekly DC calls to have tangible actions and achievable deadlines. Completing DC visits each month. DC Forecasting/Management

Work with the Branch Merchandiser on the Annual/Quarterly/Monthly outbound forecasts. Work with the DC on the Annual/Quarterly/Monthly inbound and outbound forecasts for the DC. With the Branch Merchandiser work to deliver the requirements to improve availability metrics. Ensure effective communication and implementation on RTV's and Price changes. For peak periods, build the daily inbound and outbound plans for the DC. Identify Peak intake initiatives and work with key stakeholders to build a plan to implement and deliver. Tracking Brand service levels with a view to driving performance improvements & compliance with Brand Own all aspects of Gift card and Direct packaging planning. Leading and coaching on Stock queries - Working closely with MAA's Intake Management:

Drive the weekly category intake target - Understanding the opportunities in the business, upcoming trading activities and Newness within categories. Ensure timely and accurate system management to deliver accurate intake phasing from category teams. Ensure timely and accurate booking system management with DC teams. Run weekly intake calls with Category teams. Manage DSV relationship and forecasting. Collate Monday trade analysis, insights and actions for review with the Head of, present at Trading and deputise for the Head of. Manage Ad Hoc stock and intake queries from the business. Ad Hoc:

Working closely with the Merchandising Project Manager to input and execute on yearly Technical Road Maps. Working with IT & finance to improve systems, data & stock integrity as required. Embrace new systems and operational changes to deliver business strategy. With the monthly DC stock review packs identify the short-term forecasting for the following month with a focus on key changes and increase requirements. Manage monthly price changes - communicate changes with wider business. Key Skills:
