The Role
This role be key to delivering compliance reporting while ensuring timely filing of all statutory accounts for area of responsibility
Main TasksMonthly Close ProcessMonthly/Quarterly Financial ReportingPreparation of Annual Statutory Consolidated AccountsCoordination of External AuditsAdhoc Projects - Group Accountant tasks
Requirements
Degree in Finance, Economics or related field.Preferably ACA/ACCA qualified with 2 years PQE.Previously worked in audit for a minimum of 3 yearsIn depth understanding of UK GAAPPrevious experience of preparing complex group statutory accountantsHas liaised with external group auditors in relation to the year-end audit process.Financial and management accounting experience; production of management accounting information including; P&L, balance sheets, cash flows;Systems Experience (SAP, Consolidation Tools) is desirable.Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, PivotSAP, MS Office, Self Service Analytical ToolsStrong communication skills, both written and verbalExcellent interpersonal and customer-facing skillsHighly self-motivated, self-directed, and attentive to detailHas a process and controls mind-set.Ability to listen, adapt and make proposals.Ability to persuade, to negotiate and influence in the interest of the whole business.Strong stakeholder management skills with customers, colleagues and technology partnersFlexibility and willingness to learn.
