Job Overview: As a Learning Mentor/Cover, you will play a crucial role in supporting the overall well-being and development of our students. Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Providing one-on-one and group mentoring to students, addressing academic and personal challenges.
- Assisting with the development and implementation of strategies to enhance student engagement and achievement.
- Working with teachers and parents to create a supportive network for students.
- Monitoring and tracking the progress of assigned students, identifying areas for improvement and implementing interventions as needed.
- Contributing to the school's pastoral care initiatives and promoting a positive learning environment.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Relevant experience working with young people in an educational or mentoring capacity.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Empathy and understanding of the diverse needs of students.
- Knowledge of relevant safeguarding procedures.
