Job Description:
My client are seeking a motivated and talented Town Planner to join our dynamic team at our Leicester office. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on a variety of projects and contribute to shaping the built environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assisting in the preparation and submission of planning applications and appeals.
- Conducting research and analysis to support planning proposals.
- Engaging with clients and stakeholders, providing clear and professional advice.
- Supporting senior planners in delivering high-quality planning solutions.
- Preparing reports and planning documents.
- Conducting site visits and assessments.
- Staying updated with relevant planning laws, regulations, and best practices.
Requirements:
- A degree in Town Planning or a related field.
- At least 1-3 years of experience in a planning role, preferably within a consultancy or similar environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical and research capabilities.
- Proficiency in planning software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- A proactive and enthusiastic approach to work.
- Membership or eligibility for membership with the Royal Town Planning Institute (RTPI) is advantageous.
