Educating approximately 1250 students, The Bishop's Stortford High School provides a single-sex education for boys in Years 7 to 11 and has a thriving mixed sixth form of close to 400 students, including 120 female students. As a result of excellent teaching, our students consistently achieve fantastic academic outcomes at both GCSE and A-Level. "Behaviour is exemplary in lessons and around the school." which means the school has a calm atmosphere and students are ready to learn. In the summer, the school will be relocating to a new site less than a mile from our current location. This exciting project will provide us with a fantastic new learning environment, supported by cutting edge technology, and huge opportunities for the future. Our vast list of extra-curricular activities and trips means students engage positively with school and represent our values with pride. Staff turnover is low, as they feel well-supported and enjoy working here, with many choosing the school for their own children.
