Textiles Teacher

We are looking to recruit a talented and enthusiastic person to join our highly successful and inclusive Sixth Form College. The successful candidate will be a committed, inspirational and dynamic individual with a passion for teaching and a specialist in Textiles.

The college offers a wide range of courses in Visual Arts including, A levels in Textiles, Photography, Fine Art and Graphics as well as Level 2 and 3 Art and Design. The faculty has specialist classrooms and facilities including a dedicated Textiles classroom, a Photography studio and dark room.

Itchen College is a thriving Sixth Form College with a broad curriculum offer to meet the needs of the local community. The college is situated in pleasant surroundings to the east of Southampton with excellent local transport links. Ofsted inspected the college in December 2021, grading overall provision as Good with Outstanding Quality of Education, Outstanding Education Programmes for Young People and Outstanding Provision for Learners with High Needs.
