Our independent secondary schools in NW London are seeking to appoint an experienced School Business Manager to join their Senior Leadership Team. The School Business Manager will hold significant strategic responsibilities and the successful candidate will be required to have a proven track record of operational and financial management, income generation, site management, and experience in leading administrative and support staff.

The School Business Manager will work across both Islamia Girls School and Brondesbury College (each is 1-form entry and located within 5 minutes walk of each other), promoting the highest standards of business ethos within the administrative functions.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who can:

Strategically plan and lead on the business and administrative services of the schools, ensuring the effective use of resources, and developing organisational practices, policies and procedures to support the educational aims of the schools.Manage the schools' financial and other resources, non-teaching personnel, administration systems, estates, IT, catering, and health and safety arrangements.Manage all aspects of human resources at the schools.Provide leadership and management of the schools' support and site staff, including training and development.Lead the accounts team and manage all aspects of school fees invoicing and fees collection, payroll, monitoring and reporting on income and expenditure, preparing financial plans, and assisting with the annual external audit.Contribute to the promotion and marketing of the schools in the local and wider community, and build partnerships with local businesses and organisations.Generate and coordinate new income streams, including coordinating the schools' fundraising strategies.Oversee the maintenance of the school sites and buildings, their compliance with regulations, manage security and risk assessments, and act as the health and safety coordinator for schools.Personal attributes: Self-motivated with an ability to use own initiative Strong teamworking skillsEffective interpersonal and social skills Excellent attendance and punctualityCommitment to safeguarding children and young people Commitment to supporting the schools' Islamic ethos If this is you, then we can offer you:A competitive salaryFriendly and supportive work environmentOpportunities to develop both personally and professionallyExcellent work locations with good transport links Islamia Schools Limited is committed to safeguarding and protecting the wellbeing of children and young people.
