Practice Nurse

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Practice Nurse for a Systmone surgery based in Holmfirth.

The practice are looking for a candidate, full of enthusiasm and ready for a challenge, to join their small team consisting of Doctors and Practice Nurses with a patient list of 6200.

Previous Practice Nurse experience is essential.

This practice is a single site family doctors based in a small village in the Pennines.

Main duties;

The Practice Nurse will perform tasks prescribed and delegated by the GP Partners, working unsupervised to Patient Group Directions, agreed protocols, within an evidence base and within defined competencies.

The Practice Nurse will assess patients and plan, implement and review treatment programmes.

The Practice Nurse will have shared responsibility for supervision of lower grade members of the nursing team and the delegation of duties according to training and competence. An interest in Respiratory Medicine is essential.

Essential Qualifications

Registered General Nurse
Minimum 3 years post registration
Minimum 1 year working in general practice
