STRUCTUAL DESIGN ENGINEER

We are recruiting for a Structual Design Engineer to work for our client who are based near Halifax , West Yorkshire.

THE DUTIES OF A DESIGN ENGINEER:

  • Undertake design work to specification and agreed Eurocode standards.
  • Liaising with structural engineers\architects\design managers.
  • Design administration and project coordination.
  • Work to company QA procedures.
  • Maintain a high standard of design service.
  • Working on manufacturing sub 100t nonstandard projects to BSEN1090Exc2.

ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCES & SKILLS:

  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent, HNC or Apprenticeship with proven experience in the industry.
  • Tekla Structural Designer knowledge is necessary.
  • Familiar with working to the Eurocodes for design.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Minimum 5 years experience in structural steelwork design
  • This company is looking for someone who wants to build a career and grown with the company.
  • A driven, career-oriented individual required.

THE HOURS:

Monday Thursday 7:30am- 5pm and Friday 7:30am- 2:30pm.

THE PAY:

You will earn an annual salary between £25-£35k depending on experience.
